The fabric on top is a bit coarse, and may rub feet on long walks. But it's perfect for short walks. The sole is soft, and allows for "barefoot" style of walking. Lightweight and breathable.

These sandals are very comfortable and extremely lightweight; you can't even feel them on your feet. The straps are made of elastic fabric and are not uncomfortable at all.
The only downside, perhaps, is that they may not be recommended for feet that are too thin, as they might be a bit loose. The red received leans a bit more towards raspberry, but that's not a problem.
